Kanto Region Map

Description

It's time to give you some insight on the game's main region, Kanto!

You think you know it, but you should know that the adventure that you've played - the one of the Red, set in Kanto - was ... SCALED.

Didn't you think that a REGION has 10 cities, did you? Theadventure of Red was very intense, but it just was not rich in detail as mine, and that's why it is scaled down, with few cities, one for each major event!

In my story I will propose a more realistic Kanto: it is scaled in any case, but the number of locations is much greater!

- Prefectures

Kanto is divided into six prefectures: Prefecture from top left, clockwise, are

- Indigo Prefecture, capital: Pewter City.
- Cerulean Prefecture , capital: Cerulean City.
- Saffron Prefecture, capital:  Saffron City.
- Fuchsia Prefecture, capital: Fuchsia City.
- Island Prefecture, capital: Cinnabar Island.
- Viridian Prefecture, capital: Viridian City.

I live in Pallet Town, in the Viridian Prefecture!

New locations

In this map there is -almost- every location that I will present in the game! Many of them are well-known because of the game, perhaps some of you know some of them because of the Anime, others probably do not know them.

In addition to many new locations, you can also notice changes to the city that you know! Saffron is very large, to tell you about the events of the story I had to divide it into 5 districts! Also what you know as Celadon City, in 1969 didn't even exist! There were two different cities in two different prefectures!

- The drawing is not mine, I revamped the original Kanto/Johto anime map of events: cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/2/2…

Compared to the real-world Kanto, its size is fine as is. It's already one prefecture. It would make much more sense to add another region on top than scale this one.
