The Legendary Charizard

This incredibly rare Pokémon is the oldest Charizard in the world.
In 1969, it is about 130 years old.

Not much is known about its origins: all we know is that it was born on an island, located in the Atlantic Ocean under Kalos, between 1840 and 1850, in a small town built near a volcano.
A kid leaving near, Charles Rixard, found it as a wild Pokémon.
Since then, they have always lived together, as Pokémon and Trainer, for fifty years.
In 1902, a dreadful Pokémon killed Rixard.
The aformentioned event led to a battle between the two legendary Pokémon.
The fifty years old Charizard came out victorious, but, in the midst of the battle, the volcano erupted, and its magma completely buried the nearby town, where Charizard grew up and became what it would have been: the world's most powerful Charizard.
But all this power took its toll.

It ran away, remorseful. It lived in Johto, in the Charicific Valley. It modeled at will the huge vast wasteland that was THERE and created a perfect habitat where the wild Charizard could live. Its power continued to increase, until this power became unbearable even for itself: it self-exiled, in order to go to the Ice Path in Johto. Ten years later, the grandfather of the current Cerulean Stakhanov's Gym Leader found it by accident.
At first, he was scared.
But, as he saw its eyes, he understood and felt that the legendary Pokémon was feeling sad, lonely, remorseful. So he decided to befriend it.

It wasn't easy, but, eventually, they became Pokémon and Trainer.
Only forty years later, when the twenty-years-old Stakhanov became a Gym Leader, her grandfather recognized the value of his granddaughter and let her see the legendary Pokémon : between the Pokémon and the girl there was an instant connection, and she became its Trainer.

In memory of his first Trainer, it is now known by the name of Charixard.
A name which, using a French pronunciation, sounds similar to that of Charles Rixard.
